Judge Arumugam Farm House is a contemporary countryside residence envisioned as a seamless extension to an existing family home while maintaining the physical separation required by Vastu principles. Set within a serene landscape, the project establishes a harmonious relationship between architecture, open spaces, and nature, creating a tranquil retreat for modern living. The key design challenge was to visually integrate the old and new structures without direct connection, achieved through a cohesive palette of exposed brick, natural stone, warm timber finishes, and carefully aligned architectural elements. Landscaped courtyards, screened façades, spacious outdoor areas, and light-filled interiors work together to blur the perceived boundary between the two buildings, resulting in a unified residential environment that balances tradition, functionality, and contemporary elegance.
